ZUCCHINI SOUP WITH SUNFLOWER SEEDS

FOUR SERVINGS:

  • 4 ZUCCHINIS
  • 1 CUP OF WATER
  • ¼ ONION
  • 1 TABLESPOON OF GHEE OR BUTTER
  • 1 PINCH OF GROUND PEPPER
  • SUNFLOWER SEEDS (TO TASTE)
  • SEA SALT (TO TASTE)

 

1. CUT THE ZUCCHINIS IN HALF AND PLACE THEM IN A POT.

 

2. POUR IN THE WATER, THEN ADD THE ONION AND SEA SALT.

 

3. COVER THE POT WITH A LID AND BOIL FOR 8 MINUTES OR UNTIL COOKED, THEN MIX UNTIL BLENDED.

 

4. AT LOW HEAT, ADD THE BUTTER OR GHEE, THE GROUND PEPPER, AND MORE SALT IF DESIRED, THEN BRING TO BOIL.

 

5. POUR THE SOUP INTO YOUR FAVORITE DEEP BOWL, ADD SUNFLOWER SEEDS AS A TOPPING, AND ENJOY!
