SILKY STRAWBERRY MOUSSE
12 SERVINGS:
- 2 CUPS OF GoodFarms™ STRAWBERRIES, WASHED AND DESTEMMED
- 1½ CUPS OF MILK, BOILED AND STILL HOT
- 6 OZ OF STRAWBERRY GELATIN
- 1 TBSP OF UNFLAVORED GELATIN, DISSOLVED IN ⅛ CUP OF ROOM-TEMPERATURE WATER
- 4 OZ OF CREAM CHEESE
- 4 OZ OF FROZEN WHIPPED TOPPING, THAWED
- 1½ CUPS OF COLD MILK
1. MIX THE BOILED MILK, STRAWBERRY GELATIN, AND UNFLAVORED GELATIN IN A BLENDER. ADD THE CREAM CHEESE, WHIPPED TOPPING, COLD MILK, AND STRAWBERRIES, THEN MIX UNTIL ALMOST SMOOTH.
2. STRAIN THE MIXTURE WITH A FINE MESH STRAINER TO REMOVE STRAWBERRY CLUMPS. POUR INTO A 12-CUP BUNDT PAN AND COVER WITH A LID OR PLASTIC WRAP.
3. REFRIGERATE MIXTURE FOR 8 HOURS, UNTIL FIRM.
4. SUBMERGE THE BOTTOM OF THE COVERED BUNDT PAN IN HOT WATER FOR A FEW SECONDS TO LOOSEN THE MOUSSE.
5. REMOVE COVER, THEN PLACE A LARGE PLATE ONTO THE PAN, WITH PLATE’S SERVING SIDE OVER THE UNCOVERED PAN TOP. CAREFULLY HOLD BOTH AND TURN THEM UPSIDE DOWN, THEN LIFT THE PAN TO PLATE THE MOUSSE.
6. DECORATE WITH MORE STRAWBERRIES, IF DESIRED, AND ENJOY!
