FROZEN STRAWBERRY BREAD WRAP

NINE SERVINGS:

  • 8 GoodFarms™ STRAWBERRIES, JULIENNED
  • 9 SLICES OF WHOLE-GRAIN SANDWICH BREAD
  • PLASTIC FOOD WRAP

STRAWBERRY CREAM:

  • ½ CUP GoodFarms™ STRAWBERRIES
  • 4 TBSP CREAM CHEESE
  • 3 TBSP SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK

 

1. CREATE THE STRAWBERRY CREAM BY BLENDING THE INGREDIENTS.

 

2. CREATE 9 EQUALLY SIZED BREAD SQUARES BY CUTTING THE EDGES OFF THE BREAD SLICES TO REMOVE THE CRUST.

 

3. UNROLL 3 FEET OF PLASTIC WRAP ONTO A SURFACE. ALIGN THE BREAD SQUARES 3 BY 3 IN THE CENTER OF THE PLASTIC, OVERLAPPING THEM BY ½ INCH AND PRESSING WITH FINGERS SO THE SQUARES STICK TOGETHER (A LITTLE WATER CAN HELP).

 

4. SPREAD THE STRAWBERRY CREAM EVENLY OVER THE NOW CONNECTED BREAD.

 

5. 1 INCH FROM THE RIGHT EDGE OF THE BREAD, PLACE A LINE OF JULIENNED STRAWBERRIES 3 PIECES THICK, FROM TOP TO BOTTOM. USE THE PLASTIC TO HELP ROLL THE BREAD OVER THE STRAWBERRY LINE, THEN SQUEEZE TIGHT. REPEAT, ADDING 3+ LINES OF STRAWBERRIES UNTIL THE WRAP IS COMPLETE, THEN SEAL IT ENTIRELY IN PLASTIC.

 

6. FREEZE FOR 2½ HOURS, THEN REMOVE THE WRAP FROM THE PLASTIC AND CUT IT INTO SLICES.
