STRAWBERRY-KIWI FIERY FREEZE

SIX SERVINGS:

  • 2 CUPS OF GoodFarms™ STRAWBERRIES
  • 8 STRAWBERRIES, CHOPPED
  • 2 CUPS OF WATER
  • 2 TSP OF HONEY
  • 1½ TBSP OF SUGAR
  • CHILE LIME SEASONING TO TASTE (try Tajín)
  • 2 KIWIFRUIT, CHOPPED
  • JUICE OF 2 LIMES
  • 6 (9 FL OZ) PLASTIC CUPS
  • 6 ICE POP STICKS

 

1. MOISTEN THE INNER WALLS OF THE PLASTIC CUPS WITH JUICE FROM 1 LIME, THEN SPRINKLE CHILE-LIME SEASONING ONTO THE INSIDE OF THE CUPS.

 

2. PLACE THE CUPS IN THE FREEZER FOR 30 MINUTES.

 

3. BLEND THE 2 CUPS OF STRAWBERRIES, WATER, SUGAR, HONEY, AND JUICE OF 1 LIME UNTIL LIQUEFIED.

 

4. POUR THE BLENDED MIXTURE INTO THE PLASTIC CUPS, LEAVING SPACE AT THE TOP. ADD THE CHOPPED STRAWBERRIES AND KIWIFRUIT INTO EACH CUP, LETTING THEM SINK IN.

 

5. FREEZE THE FILLED CUPS FOR 1½ HOURS, OR UNTIL SOLID ENOUGH TO KEEP A STICK IN PLACE.

 

6. PLACE A STICK ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO THE BOTTOM, INTO THE CENTER OF EACH CUP, THEN FREEZE FOR AN ADDITIONAL 1½ HOURS, OR UNTIL FIRM.
