STRAWBERRY & BACON BRUSCHETTA

TWELVE SERVINGS:

  • 12 SLICES OF BAGUETTE
  • 2 TBS OF OLIVE OIL
  • 2 CUPS OF GoodFarms™ STRAWBERRIES
  • ½ CUP OF RED ONION
  • 1 CUP OF GOAT CHEESE (CRUMBLED)
  • 4 STRIPS OF BACON
  • TOASTED SESAME SEEDS (TO TASTE)
  • ½ CUP OF BASIL LEAVES (JULIENNED)
  • ½ CUP OF BALSAMIC VINEGAR REDUCTION (SEE RECIPE)
  • PREHEAT OVEN 425°F

 

1. COOK THE BACON AND CRUMBLE IT.

 

2. SLICE THE STRAWBERRIES.

 

3. CUT THE BAGUETTE INTO ¼ INCH SLICES, THEN BRUSH THE SLICES WITH OLIVE OIL.

 

4. BAKE THE BAGUETTE SLICES IN THE PREHEATED OVEN FOR 5 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED.

 

5. TAKE THE BAGUETTE SLICES OUT OF THE OVEN AND PLACE 3 STRAWBERRY SLICES OVER EACH OF THEM.

 

6. SPRINKLE ON THE CRUMBLED CHEESE AND THE TOASTED SESAME SEEDS.

 

7. DRIZZLE WITH THE BALSAMIC VINEGAR REDUCTION AND GARNISH WITH THE BASIL.

 

8. SERVE AND ENJOY!
