RED AND GOLDEN CAPRESE SALAD

TWO SERVINGS:

  • 1 PINT OF RED CHERRY TOMATOES
  • 1 PINT OF YELLOW CHERRY TOMATOES
  • 1 CUP OF FRESH MOZZARELLA CHEESE BALLS
  • 8 BASIL LEAVES (MORE IF DESIRED)
  • ¼ CUP OF BALSAMIC VINEGAR
  • ½ CUP OF EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
  • STEM OF BASIL LEAVES TO GARNISH
  • SALT (TO TASTE)

 

1. PLACE ALL CHERRY TOMATOES, MOZZARELLA CHEESE, AND BASIL LEAVES IN A DISH.

 

2. ADD BALSAMIC VINEGAR AND OLIVE OIL.

 

3. MIX, AND THEN ADD SALT TO TASTE.

 

  • CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE BREAD AND TOAST IT TO ENJOY WITH THE SALAD; IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE! USE THE EXTRA BASIL STEM TO DECORATE, AND THEN DELIGHT IN THE AROMA BEFORE TASTING!
